The holidays are here and I would like someone to explain to me how I am supposed to survive this season living in NYC. There are stores everywhere, around every corner, filled with beautiful clothes, jewelry, hats, shoooooes, purses, neck massagers, Peruvian alpaca blankets, cupcakes, hand-dipped candles and get this, you can even get a Geisha facial where they put sterilized Nightingale poop on your face. Not kidding. And worse, I want it, I WANT IT ALL! Why do we have to shop for other people when we could just buy all this stuff for us?
That was selfish, sorry. So my sis Jenny was here and we had a great time together. Especially the time we shared together that I remember. Her first night here we had a wonderful Italian dinner at Bottega del Vino with amazing wine. On the way home we decided on a night cap at Chez Josephine, a New York monument, and one night cap turned into a full on Abraham Lincoln hat filled with scotch and martinis. Ugh. But the place is beautiful and fun and the staff is so much fun. They have a piano player with a voice to keep you in your seat, so be careful people.
The girls on our way out
